Thanks much! :)
suppose \(x\) was \(5\) then \(\#5=-5+1=-4\) and \[\#-4=-(-4)+1=4+1=5\] now try it with \(x\) instead of \(5\)
Okay. So, x = x, and therefore, #x = -x + 1 = -x + 1 .. #(-x+1) = -(-x+1) + 1 = x -1 +1 = x Oh. Makes sense. I was a bit confused why you put #-4, but I guess it was supposed to be #(-4)? Okay. Thanks much!
