Yep. Notice that you can easily factor out a 3 x^2 y out of this to get: \[ \Large {3x^2 y (x^2 + 2x - 24)}. \]Also, notice (this takes some binomial factoring expereince) that \[ \Large {x^2 + 2x - 24 = (x-4)(x+6)}. \]You can check this by FOILNG (x - 4)(x + 6). So, the final answer is: \[ \Large {\boxed {3x^2 y (x - 4)(x + 6)}}. \]Do you see how this works?
