well the question is asking what the step is after substitution
I don't get it though... you have -7 then it becomes -2 and you lose 5y then suddenly a -2y comes out of no where.
on the one with the questionmark after it, it should be 4=-2y
there we go...then it's subtraction property of equality because we are subtracting 21 from each side
so how does the problem even work I dont really understand the whole thing.... Like how do you get from the given to the answer?
it's just like you were solving it, but they do the steps for you and you have to explain what they're doing.
