Am I correct? The map given shows the relationship among three streets. Suppose that angle 1 + angle 2 = 180 degrees. Are Maple Street and Elm Street parallel? Explain. It looks like they are parallel to me. I know that if both angles equal 180 degrees then they are supplementary angles. In order to equal 180 degrees when combined, they would have to equal 90 degrees each. I think they are parallel.
