A jet ski company charges a flat fee of $24.00 plus $2.25 per hour to rent a jet ski. Another company charges a fee of $23.00 plus $2.50 per hour to rent the same jet ski. Using a graphing calculator, find the number of hours for which the costs are the same. Round your answer to the nearest whole hour.

To use your graphing calculator, I assume you need equations to graph. You need to express the word problem as two line equations, then graph them... the point where the lines intersect is the number of hours for which the costs are the same.
The first company charges $24 no matter what, plus $2.25 for every hour. So you could write that as an equation where "y" is the total cost, and "x" is the number of hours: y = 2.25x + 24
Do the same for the other company, then graph both lines and see what the x value is where they cross each other.
do go on please?
