If i go through and watch all of the calculus 1 khan academy videos and do the practice problems on there will I really know all of calc 1?

hero (hero):

There's a little more to it than that, it it would help a great deal. Sorry about your pre-calc course bro.

Okay well i started the past few days looking at khan academy and it seems pretty good and ive learned quite a bit. I learned the chain, product and quotient rule today, and a lot about limits yesterday. I was just very discouraged because of my professor, he wouldn't let us use a calculator AT ALL :( which was a major reason i didn't do well in it. I did really well in precalc in high school which is why i know i have potential..

zepdrix (zepdrix):

PatrickJMT, MIT, IntegralCALC, KhanAcademy.. are sure there are more great youtube users for calc, I just can't remember them all right now :) To be honest... Khan's calc 1 videos were some of his really early work that he uploaded, they're just ok... kind of messy (before he learned how to use that fancy pen hehe). Try to find problems from all of these users :D you'll learn some good stuff. And I would strongly recommend this website for practice problems. http://www.math.ucdavis.edu/~kouba/ProblemsList.html

Thank you very, much I will definitely take a look at that! @Hero do you think i can still make it through the astronomy and physics majors?

hero (hero):

I tried to tell you to do the math major first bro. You have to understand math before pursuing more difficult majors

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha how would I ever get through a math major :D thats a funny joke

You take at least one year off from school to prepare for it. 2 years at the most. Get a job working at a community center or community college. Do something like that, then spend your freetime reviewing lower level and higher level math. (which is what I suggested to you before)
