Is anyone good at finding order in math problems? Identify the polynomial written in ascending order. Answers: 4f3 + 19f + 16f4 - 9f2 -9f2 + 16f4 + 19f + 4f3 16f4 + 4f3 - 9f2 + 19f 19f - 9f2 + 4f3 + 16f4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just look at the exponent and find wat degree it is. C is the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The order is determined by the value of the exponent on the independent variable which is "f" here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's not correct for ascending order.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How do I determine the degrees...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the number after the "f"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which is the exponent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

They really should be written with a "^" between the "f" and the number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You're right @tcarroll010

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, just rewrite the equation with those numbers going higher and you've got your answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You got it! Good job!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

19f - 9f2 + 4f3 + 16f4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow thank you!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're so wonderful, oh my gosh thank you....! @tcarroll010

OpenStudy (anonymous):
