Evalute the function when x= -2, 0,and 3. h(x)=2.25x Please help me and write out how you get the answer!:)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

When x = -2, h(x) = 2.25x h(-2) = 2.25(-2) ... replace EVERY copy of 'x' with -2 h(-2) = -4.5

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

So all you do is replace each x with the value in question and evaluate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why dont u use the 3 and 0?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

those are separate values, you plug them in one at a time

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so when x = 0, what is h(x)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

good, when x = 3, h(x) = ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

After you figure that out do you add all the answers together?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

no, you just say when x = -2, h(x) = -4.5 when x = 0, h(x) = 0 when x = 3, h(x) = ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. That makes sense. I appreciate your help:)
