Tutorial on energy :)

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

All bodies around us work by using energy.Even our body also uses some kind of energy.so,there are two main types of energy:- 1. \(\text{Potential Energy}\)- Petroleum & food etc. are the energy that are stored in body & vehicles so the stored energy is called \(\cal{potential \space energy}\). 2. \(\text{Kinetic Energy}\)- when a body moves, the stored energy slowly converts into \(kinetic \space energy\). The types mentioned above were main types . now except them there are also other types of energy :- 1. \(\text{Gravitational Energy}\)-when a heavy metal is pushed downwards then it uses our own stored energy & then converts to kinetical energy. This type of energy is called \(gravitational \space energy\). 2. \(\text{Strain Energy}\)-When something is squeezed or strained by someone than it uses its stored energy & converts to kinetical energy. This type of energy is called \(strain \space energy\). 3. \(\text{sound energy}\)-when two persons talk through telephone & If one person says something then his voice converts to electrical energy & passes through telephone & gain converts to sound energy. This type of energy is called \(sound \space energy\). \(\text{Meaurement Of Energy :-}\) The unit to measure Energy is Kelvin which is named after \(\text{J.P.Joules}\) of Manchester who was first to suggest that \(Heat \space is \space a \space form \space of \space energy \).

thaanx !

Don't forget that kinetic energy can be calculated by using this formula: \[\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }\times mv ^{2}\] and for potential energy is: mgh

OpenStudy (vincent-lyon.fr):

Gravitational energy and stress energy are different forms of potential energy. Sound energy is mechanical energy: a combination of kinetic energy (medium has density and is moving) and elastic potential energy (elastic medium is compressed). You could add Electromagnetic energy to the list. It lies where E-field and/or B-field are not zero and will be carried from one place to another by an electromagnetic wave. Good job you did here!

OpenStudy (jiteshmeghwal9):

Thanx @Vincent-Lyon.Fr sir :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats pretty cool great jobb

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I suppose all the other kinds of energy are subsets of the main kinetic and potential energy? :) Nice job condensing the descriptions.

awesome job :D
