Did I do this right?


The folding chair has different settings that change the angles formed by its parts. Suppose angle 2 is 31 and angle 3 is 72. Find angle 1. The diagram is not to scale and will be in the comments.

I think it could be 103. I added angle 2 (72 degrees) and angle 3 (31 degrees) together to equal 103. I'm not sure if I did it right though.

Yes, 103 would be correct, Since 77 degree would be the inside angle, just subtract 180 from 77 and you have angle 1
