Find the direct variation equation of the graph through the points (0, 0) and (1, -2). Write in y=kx form. y = 2x y = -2x y = 1/2 x y = -1/2 x

How do i figure this out???? please help me!

this graph pass from (0,0) so if it didnt give you the hint : y = kx you would know that it is in that form. it passes from ( 1, -2 ) so ... (-2) = k (1) --> k = -2 so the equation is y = -2 x

thanks!
