Solve –x + 3 > 7 And... Why must you flip the inequality symbol when you divide by a negative number? I don't get it. Help please?

OpenStudy (tansheet):

this is because when you divide by a negative number.....then you are actually reducing the number e.g. -3>-7 and 3<7 these both are same...... in this example i have divide it with -1 ....... but the signed changed as you noticed....
