do you know where to start? try to divide both sides by 5 you get x^2 = 10 then take square root of both sides you get x=+squareroot(10) you also get x=-squareroot(10)

How did you get the negative? This means there's two answers? THANKS for the explanation it helps

:)

every time you take a square root, there are 2 answers, a positive answer and negative answer example x^2=4 x=+2 and -2 you can do (+2)^2 to get 4 you can also do (-2)^2 to get 4 be careful with parenthesis -2^2 doesnt equal (-2)^2

That makes sense! Thanks :)
