SOMEBODY ANYBODY EVERYBODY HELP!?!?!?! How do I solve this problem! I need a formula or something please!! Which of the following ordered pairs is a solution to the inequality y ≥ 4x - 2?
where are the ordered pairs????
I can probably do this with the ordered pairs..
you literally plug in every single point into that inequality and see if they work...only one of the options will work and that is your answer :)
Just try putting each ordered pair and see which works..
okay sorry hold on! (0, -4) (0, 0) (0, -3) (0, -5)
do I plug in the like -4,0,-3,-5 into y and 0 in x?
yup :D
then figure out which is correct to the inequality
awesome u shall be afterall ;)
sweet! so would it be 0,0?
wait @yummydum is 0,0 the right answer?
@yummydum @yummydum @yummydum
actually....this is weird.....all of those work :S take a look http://www.webmath.com/cgi-bin/tgraph.cgi?xmin%3D%2D5%26xmax%3D5%26ymin%3D%2D5%26ymax%3D5%26samples%3D100%26s%3D4x+%2D+2%26color%3DRed%26pltype%3Dineq%26ineq%3Dgteq
aw man
i think it would be 00 because -4,-3 -5 are less than -2
