How do I determine ratios? 65 white squash and 19 yellow squash. What is the ratio of white to yellow squash?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how many white? : how many yellow?

I think that the answer is 2.95:1 or 2.95 white squash to 1 yellow squash.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that might be good i set it up like this: white : yellow 65 : 19 , divide by 19 to get yellow to 1 -- -- 19 19 what is 65/19?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2.9471 thanks.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, i made a mistake

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3.421 so it would be 3.421:1 ratio?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

:) i tend to have to set it up and go a longer route to make sure ive got things correctly; good luck

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes; 3.42 or however accurate you wanna make it
