i know my essay isnt good at all but thanks for taking your time and helping me. I have major and minor problem in writing that can fix over time.My major problem is I use comma splice way more than I suppose to. My minor problem is verb form and spelling. Since I know what weak side in writing is it's easy for me to get help on the grammar error I mentioned.i believe many ESL students will experience this kind grammar error. Most time I end up using comma splice when I get to my third and fourth paragraph. I use many independent and dependent clause and I get confused whether to use comma splice, period or leave it just the way it is and start another sentence.I know for fact that I can use comma splice in front of conjunctions but rather than that I don’t know when exactly to use comma splice.google search explains ''If two independent clauses are to be joined into one sentence, they should be separated by a conjunction or a semi-colon, or possibly even a conjunction and a comma. They can also be separated into two sentences by a period. Using a comma causes a comma splice.'' My first minor problem is verb format. I have verb format error in my essay because when I am rushing my sentences seem correct and if I read it loud in my head it seems right as well.I have maxim two to three verb format errors in my class essay. For example, I am sleep instead of writing I am sleeping.I am getting verb format wrong unlike other tenses because when I write I don’t give much attention I forget the proper way.As google serch explains''The different forms of verbs show different meanings related to such things as tense (past, present, future), person (first person, second person, third person), number (singular, plural) and voice (active, passive).'' My second minor problem is having hard time writing correct spelling.i can't blame on nobody that I am a bad speller. sometimes I get nervous and I lose confidence when I try to use big vocabulary words.I have hard time spelling even the words I know when I get to the middle of my essay. The one and only solution to fix my problem in spelling is to practice words by saying out loud letter by letter or writing down over and over. I haven't found any source that is helpful to improve my writing but

OpenStudy (this):

my teacher want me to look pack on my past errors and identify top two or three types of problems in my wetting grammatical or sentence error (or exapmle VT,PREP,WF) or structure error (for example lack of details ,no topic sentence ,poor organization.

OpenStudy (this):

*past

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

@ParthKohli @welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

In the first line 'can fix' should be 'can be fixed'.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

second line should read 'I am supposed to'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

third line 'what my weak side' instead of 'what weak side'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 4 . New sentence so capital letter 'I believe'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 6 : Most of the time'.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 9 levae a space before beginning of a sentence ' sentence. I know'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 9 should be 'for a fact' line 11 space before google and should be capital letter 'Google'.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 15 'verb format errors' is better than 'verb format error'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 17 'maximum' not 'maxim'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 18 'I am sleep' 'I am sleeping' These are best written in quotes like this.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Also in line 18 you havent left a space before the beginning of the sentence.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 19:- it should be ''the verb'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 20 'attention to it' not just 'attention'.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Note that when I am writing these corrections in quotes I don't mean that you should also write them in quotes. Except for the line 18.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Line 24 it should be 'having a hard time'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

line 24 Space before new sentence and capital letter ' I can't'

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Line 25 you have a double negative the sentence should read 'I can't blame the fact that I'm a bad speller on anybody' . Can't is a negative and so is nobody I you use can't you should say 'anybody'.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

* If you

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Line 26 it should read 'a hard time'.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

@this Your spelling is pretty good

OpenStudy (welshfella):

gotta go Hope this has helped.

OpenStudy (this):

omg thank so much.i cant thank enough @welshfella

OpenStudy (welshfella):

you are welcome

OpenStudy (maddy1251):
