OpenStudy (anonymous):
Beowulf spiritually journeyed through his flaws. His weakness for flesh, his anger, shame, trust, and hate. Though there were, as there always are, the physcial elements of going to kill Grendel and the Witch, it was still mainly a spiritual journey.
