is simple sequence repeat polymorphism (SSRP) same as simple sequence length polymorphism?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not sure how similar they are but there both use as genetic markers . SSLPs are used as genetic markers with Polymerase in pcr . variance in the length of SSLPs can be used to understand genetic variance between two individuals . (SSRs) are repeating sequences of 2-6 base pairs of DNA termed microsattilites and are also used as genetic markers . theres also Structure specific recognition proteins with the same ssrp acronym . Top and bottom _ I don't know ! Source - wiki p
