can anyone help me with paralll problems with this question of 14x-8 then i have 12y ?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does it look like this;? \[12y=14x-8\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it might help thanks and i have a whole work sheet to do

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That's not the answer, I was just wondering what you had to do, whether it was to find both x and y of different expressions or if they were the same equation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the values of x and y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What exactly does your worksheet say for directions as to do with these?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find values of x and y, show all work and it says that they are parallel problems

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And it has 12y and 14x-8 separate? Not joined by an equal sign, 12y=14x-8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

separate

I honestly have no idea, it doesn't really make sense to me. If it was x=12y and y=14x-8 that would be different, but just alone as 12y and 14x-8, I don't know. Sorry.
