(3x/12) x (x+4/x)

i just need it simplified!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\left(\frac{3x}{12}\right)\left(\frac{x+4}{x}\right)\] \[\frac{(3x)(x+4))}{(12)(x)}\] \[\left(\frac{(3)(x)}{(12)(x)}\right)\left(\frac{x+4}{1}\right)\] \[\left(\frac{3}{12}\right)\left(\frac{x+4}{1}\right)\] \[\left(\frac{1}{4}\right)\left(\frac{x+4}{1}\right)\] \[\left(\frac{x+4}{4}\right)\]

thank you so much!

Make sure that you write down that x cannot equal zero though. \[x\neq 0\] because the original expression divided by x and you cannot divide by 0

sounds good!
