OpenStudy (frostbite):

Is it mathematically incorrect to write: f(1,0)

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

the equality or inequality can not be determined without providing a specific function f(x,y)

OpenStudy (frostbite):

yea i know it is just for a specific case, just don't know if you can write a inequality like that. The function i am working with is: \[f(x,y)=4xy^3-x^2\]

OpenStudy (frostbite):

you can fast see that f(1,0)=-1 f(0,1)=0 , f(0,0) = 0 and f(1,1)=3

OpenStudy (sirm3d):

the inequality is acceptable.

OpenStudy (frostbite):

All i wanted to know. thanks
