subtract -7x / x-4 (-) -2 / x-4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ -7x }{ x-4 }-\frac{ -2 }{ x-4 }\]

OpenStudy (amorfide):

first of all... you know that you have a common denominator so you can write them as one fraction -7x--2/x-4 so now you want to simplify you have a double negative which becomes a plus -7x+2/x-4
