Step by step instructions for drawing a square using compass or straightedge?
i cant find good step by steps using google so im asking here :(
1. Set the compass to any given opening 2. Place it on the straight edge so both the point and the pencil are on the edge. 3. Draw a half circle 4. Now move the compass so that the point is on one end of the half circle and the pencil is on the interior of circle and draw a half circle 5. Move the compass to the oppisite side of the half circle and draw another half circle 7. Draw a staight line along the bottom of the half circle 6. Draw lines where the circles intersect and the down to the straight edge line from the intersections
That should cover it I think.
