Can someone check my answer for a Trig question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got this by first doing 64sqrt2 = 90.5 then I figured that 106/sqrt3 = 35.3sqrt3. From there, by multiplying 35.5sqrt3 by 2 to get 70.6sqrt3 which equals 122.3. Then I added 122.3 and 90.5 to get my answer... 212.8 is this right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first step is correct but in second step it is cos30=106/h h=106*2/sqrt3 as cos 30=sqrt3/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get 122.4 =106*2/sqrt3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would that be the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this problem is confusing me... :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now add 90.5 and 122.4 to get total length thats all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, so 90.5 + 122.4 = 212.9 so that's the final answer. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you solved it yourself try to be confident

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay, thanks! and I will, I just tend to second guess myself when trying to solve math problems. lol anyway, thanks again! :)

welcome
