nothing probably because i made a typo, should be
\[(x-2)^2+(6-5)^2=17\]
\[(x-2)^2+1=17\]
\[(x-2)^2=16\]
\[x-2=4\implies x=6\] or
\[x-2=-4\implies x=-2\]
