Which of the following is a root of the polynomial shown below? f(x)=x^3-x^2-9x+9 (Points : 2) -9 -3 2 9

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

just just the factor theorem which requires you to substitute into the polynomial... if f(-9) = 0 the -9 is a factor. e.g. f(-9) =(-9)^3 -(-9)^2 -9(-9) + 9 = 72 so -9 is not a factor just repeat the process.
