A water tower 30 m tall is located at the top of a hill. From a distance of D = 160 m down the hill, it is observed that the angle formed between the top and base of the tower is 8°. Find the angle of inclination of the hill. (Round your answer to one decimal place.) ****I'm not looking for an answer. I need to know how to work the problem with steps. I tried it using the law of sines and can't seem to figure it out. ;/

Here's the template for your solution. The most important part of solving a problem is a good drawing ; I gave you all you need for this problem, but next time, try drawing a few lines, erase if you it didn't lead you to any idea, do some brainstorming with your pencil and eventually you'll find something familiar.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry... i forgot to turn it around. Here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you see how to solve your problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I really don't. ;/ I understand the law of sines I think it is just when there is a two-part triangle it completely throws me off.

I finally figured it out. Thank you for the picture I appreciate it!! :))
