Oh sorry...forgot to type out problem...
oh. ok. i'm ready.
2 families go to a baseball game. One family purchases 2 adult tickets and 3 child tickets for $33. Another family purchases 3 adult tickets and 2 child tickets for $37. Let x represent the cost in dollars of 1 adult ticket and let y represent the cost in dollars of 1 child ticket. The linear system given by 2x+3y=33 and 3x+2y=37 represents this situation.
a. Solve the linear system to find the cost of one adult and 1 child ticket.
b. how much would it cost 2 adults and 5 children to attend the game?
Do I use the multiplication method?
i think the answers are: a) x = -y +14 b) y = -x + 14 no, i don't think so
Okay. Let me check.
And try to do it.. >.>
Okay. I got the answer. Nevermind...I just had to reread it, but thank you anyways for your consideration. (:
your welcome. Sorry for steering you wrong. :c
Nahh, it's okay. I also learned a bit more about Linear equations. :3 XD
