what is the best way to start a children's story?

Start with something a child would ask you , for example "How did a Tiger get his stripes?" And you can write a simple story just like that . Pretty much just hack into the imagination of a child mind by just listening to their opinions and you'll have a great, children's story book?

Ok then try something like , Once upon a time there lived a beautiful ,smart and kind little girl named (whatever name you think of lol) ,she lived in the magical land of (whatever magical name you can think of lol) .And from there im hoping you have and idea now.  Kids love anything pretty much that has them constantly on the edge of their seat , their simply wanting to know more from the first few sentences , they wanna know now what the little girl like, is she a princess? so know who have questions to answer ,and by answering these question you are now creating your children story
