Ok, a little help with this speed measurement...In a minute I'll put a graph up

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok this is the graph, how fast is the car going from A-B and how fast is the car going from B-C?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

do you know a formula for speed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Speed =Distance / time?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

distance = rate x time

OpenStudy (amistre64):

correct

OpenStudy (amistre64):

and i cant see any specific value on the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Are you supposed to answer in variable terms?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know, thats the problem Im having... and maybe variables?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the distance covered from B to C is what? ignore the time part, how much does the distance change?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ummmm.....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well If I was to put up markers, about 2/3 as much as A-B... I really am uninformed in this topic...

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the orientation of the chart might be confusing |dw:1351868677072:dw|
