interpolition-To estimate a value of (a function or series) between two known values.
extrapolition-To estimate (a value of a variable outside a known range) from values within a known range by assuming that the estimated value follows logically from the known values.
It is interpolition because your using the data(the model) given to you to come up with the amount of cheese consumed per person in 1976.
