How do antibiotics work to cure bacterial infections?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Most act by breaking down the bacterial cell wall structure , so when you take them for a tooth infection - when the pain stops thats them all bursting like thousands of tiny bubbles Mmmm tasty !

hehehe, thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Humans don't have theese same cell wall structres so thats why we don't burst along with them b.t.w . All work by targeting an essential part of the bacteria that we dont have .
