Post what you have written, and we can help.

Shakespeare’s Hamlet is a complex philosophical play; a tragedy full of uncertainties. Hamlet himself is uncertainty, full of questions and unclear answers. The murder of his father and the sense of revenge, the rejection of his love Ophelia and the feelings of disparity, all these tragedies compiled into Hamlet’s perplexed persona. Hamlet is existentialism, not madness.

Shakespeare reveals...? by using literary devices such as allusions, metaphors, and imagery.

Thank you for your time! Anything helps!

A thesis should only be one or two sentences. It should answer the big question you are posing in your paper. In this case, simply WHY or HOW is existentialism portrayed in the play. Three examples should be enough. Then you will write one paragraph for each example, or main point.

Okay, I see. Thing is my essay requires 2 themes, motifs and literary devices. I chose certainty/uncertainty/mystery and death (themes). And then I formatted like Thesis (1) Mystery (2) Certainty/Uncertainty (3) Mystery-motif(4) Mystery 2-motif(5) Mystery 3-certainty/uncertainty (6) mystery 4-certainty/uncertainty (7) conclusion (8) -- ( about 8 paragraphs over 1000 words)
