An empty set is a. an ordered pair b. a collection of numbers or objects c. a set that has no members d. objects within a set
Some of the choices are obviously wrong. Can you identify them?
what you mean ? @kropot72
An example of an obviously incorrect choice is "a. an ordered pair". How can a set be empty if it contains an ordered pair? Is that clear?
In addition to choice a there are two more choices that indicate the set contains something. Remembering that we are looking for a description of an empty set, can you see what these two incorrect choices are?
im not sure that was the question ?.... @kropot72
Please accept that I am trying to lead you to the correct choice by a process of elimination. Bearing that in mind can you identify two choices in addition to choice a that are not descriptions of the empty set?
