harmonic motion pendulum. I need to find the position equation (theta(time)) having L = 2.5m - v(0) = 0.01 m/s - m = 12kg. This velocity is horizontal on theta = 0. Please, I need some steps of this so I can try by myself... =)

To begin with the first step is to choose an apropriate system of coordinates that makes the problem easier to deal with, so the first step would be to change the horizontal velocity to angular velocity.

The next step, is to write the equations of motion (F=ma) and change the aceleration to angular aceleration. From that I think is easier to go on, if there are any problems with what I said so far, or with the rest of the problem, let me know.
