@kelseygirl73 you need factors of -1050, which means the signs of the factors will be opposite. You need numbers that subtract to make 5.

A shortcut along the way is to see that 25 has very few factors, 1×25, 5^2; and 42 has very few factors: 6×7, etc. so that narrows down your choices quite a bit.

Your numbers are 35-30 =5 35*-30=-1050 It helps to write out the factors you know of, then elaborate on them.
