Please give me some feedback on my introduction. I am unsure of the second to last sentence, what do you think? During the late thirteenth century Florence and Siena housed the painters Cenni di Pepi and Duccio di Buoninsegna respectively. Both Italian artists individually created two works of art sharing the title “Virgin and Child Enthroned”. Even though these two painters came from different cities, both panels were thought to have been commissioned for churches of Florence. Cenni di Pepi, commonly known as Cimabue, created his panel in 1280 for the church of Santa Trinità. Five years later, Duccio’s panel was commissioned for the church of Santa Maria Novella. At first glance, these two paintings display undeniable similarities, but apon further examination one can find distinct dissimilarities between the two. Apon the many traits of these paintings, this paper will explore form, space and color. Cenni di Pepi and Duccio’s two versions of Virgin and Child Enthroned share similarities in form and space yet differ in the use of color.

It looks fine to me. If anything, I'd expand on that next-to-last sentence and take out the last one, which would work better as an opening sentence in the next paragraph.
