@Libniz Can you help ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the human sperm cell is haploid, so that its 23 chromosomes can join the 23 chromosomes of the female egg to form a diploid cell.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be C ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no , a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only after sperm and egg meets they become diploid with 46 chromosone

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why Would it be A though ? I Thought it would have been C . What is the difference between haploid and diploid ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think about this; mom contribute half , dad contributes half; persons need 46 chromsomes so sperm has 23, egss has 23
