Write a polynomial function of minimum degree with real coefficients whose zeros include those listed. Write the polynomial in standard form. 7, -11, and 2 + 6i please i need help urgently

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

2 factors are (x - 7) and ( x + 11) complex roots come in conjugate pairs so a 4th root will be 2 - 6i

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and its just (2+6i)(2-6i)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@cwrw238 ?

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

no - sorry i had to go away for a minute and my computer is very slow

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

it factorizes to (x - 7)(x + 11)(x - (2 + 6i](x - (2 - 6i)] the last 2 factors expand to x^2 - 4x + 40) so we have (x - 7)(x + 11)(x^2 - 4x + 40)

OpenStudy (cwrw238):

expanding this will give a quartic polynomial (standard form)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you very much
