the y's in these eliminate perfectly. -2y & 2y cancels out, so solve for x.

2x=-2 or x=-1

I got x=-1 what would be the next step?

plug -1 back into an orignal equation. Whichever one you choose. And solve for y

And then i got y = 1 :)
