5-y=-3x ,Graph each equation by using the x and y intercepts *HELP ME PLEASE* #How do you find the x and y intercepts,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To find x intercepts, set y equal to zero. To find y intercepts, set x equal to zero. PS. you might want to change the equal to a "y=..." to help you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then after i do that, it would be 0-y=-3x ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would change the equation to help first. SO, y=3x+5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where did you get the +5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Original equation was 5-y=-3x I subtracted the 5 over to the right side of the equation to isolate y so, it would be -y=-3x-5 then I multiplied by -1 so you can have a positive line thus, y=3x+5
