Could someone assist me? A particle is moving along the parabola 4y=(x+2)^2 in such a way that its x-coordinate is increasing at the constant rate of 2 units per second. How fast is the particle's distance from the point (-2,0) changing as it passes through the point (2,4)? I've worked through the problem but would like a second opinion to make sure that I calculated everything correctly.
