This is probably super simple, but I am trying to write '\sech^{2}(x)' but I can't get it to work. 'sech^{2}(x)' works, but then it is italicized.. How do I get around this. @hartnn

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\sech^2x \\ sech^2x\) yes, u cannot write it normally.....

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

So should I write it... it shouldn't be italicized

hartnn (hartnn):

even i tried that in my tutorial, but had to use italized font only....

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

hmm.. weird. thanks for the help as always :)

hartnn (hartnn):

\(\text{sech}^2x\)

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

I figure that that was the only way... to use \text

OpenStudy (baldymcgee6):

thanks!!

hartnn (hartnn):

welcome ^_^
