It's "creativity." Intrinsic motivation is where we are motivated to do something, for our own goals. It's the kind of motivation where we're doing something...not for money, and not for good grades, or any reason that's on the OUTSIDE. Intrinsic motivation comes from INSIDE. It's where we're doing something so that we can feel proud of ourselves. We're doing it because it makes us happy. Because it gives us pleasure, on the inside. When we are motivated to do things for ourselves, and ONLY for ourselves (not money, or good grades), we have more room to be creative. To create something that is truly unique and ours.
