Solve using table: A is 60 miles from b. An automobile at A Starts for b at the rate of 20 miles an hour. how long will it be before the automobile meet? So here is what i did: i did the table. A) 20 + 20 T B) 25 + 25 T Total:60T=45 *i added the 20 & 25 which gave me 45. so i divide 45 by 60 because of the total. which then equals 9/12 i simplified to 3/4 but now is when i get stuck. how do i turn that into time? and did i do it right?
hmmm i am not .. and can you tell me is the table given to you or something?
yes it was.
sorry lost connection.. can you post all the information given including the table provided.. iw ill see if i can do that for you..
just answer this for me. is 3/4 45 minutes?
well honestly i cant answer, can be different according to the table but if u ask me straight from the quesiton u have above.. it says it has to cover 60 miles.. and it travels at speed of 20 miles per hour. so 20 miles are cover in one hour.. so 60 miles would be cover in = 60/20 = 3 hours..
i dont have any idea how you got this B) 25 + 25 T so unless i dont see what the table says i cannot be certain of the answer.
dont mind the second 25 , it's just one. but idk the teacher put it like that. but it's the 25 miles & the 20 miles.
but i wouldint trust her . she barely knows what she does half the time...
well if i ignore the table.. then 3 hours it will take...
lol i can understand that... same happen with me always :P
i am glad i sleep in class rather then get confuse all the time..
right!? i don't even listen. i rather learn on youtube and on here.
lol.. its fine then... it would be 3 hours just looking the information u have psoted.. completely the table is ignored.. the way i did also should make sense total 60 miles.. 20 miles in one hour.. so 3 hours for 60 miles..
