LGBARIDDLE The police have three suspects for the murder of Mr. Boddy: Col. Mustard, Rev Green, and Prof Plum. Mustard, Green and Plum each declare that they did not kill Boddy. Mustard also states that Boddy was a friend of Green and that Plum disliked him. Green also states that he did not know Boddy and that he was out of town the day Boddy was killed. Plum also states that he saw both Mustard and Green with Boddy the day of the killing and that either Mustard or Green must have killed him. Can you determine who the murderer was if innocent men do not lie?
Are you a fan of @lgbasallote (:
hey please can anyone anwer in the form of P's and Q's :(
Omg.
how are to know if a man is innocent or not? technically they're all innocent until proven guilty thus you are saying they're all telling the truth...
basically the answer is the person who is saying that he was out of town but I need to submit this answer using logics of discrete mathematics :(
well...based on everything you just told us, this is unprovable, like i said before "innocent until proven guilty" if everyone is innocent they're all telling the truth.
@gaara438125 while it's true that "if everyone is innocent, they're all telling the truth", that's not what's going on here... someone is guilty and lying.
I cant even comprehend this riddle for some reason. My heads gonna explode :c
@Saadjmx can you "translate" the reasoning in @jazy's link into the p's and q's you need?
@JakeV8 I understand he needs an answer, but i'm just saying "Can you determine who the murderer was if innocent men do not lie?" that statement totally contradicts with the constitution thus resulting into a double negative
Yes Jake :)
@JakeV8 I want to submit the answer in the form of P's and Q's using functions etc
Yeah, I know :) That's not my strongest skill, but I know what you're talking about.
yes man I know it's tough and will take some time :/
I think any "help" I try to offer is more likely to drag you down on this one :)
okay thanks very much man :)
@saadjmx if you need to pass this, how come it has a heading of LGBARIDDLE?
