during metaphase how many X's are lined up in the center of the cell?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
4 chromosomes line up during metaphase I. The sex cell then splits in two and the 2 chromosomes in each cell line up again (metaphase II). They split a second time. Now there are 4 sex cells with 1 chromosome from the original tetrad in each .
