Ohh...umm..give me a sec

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the max is 31.375

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that i keep getting 27.38

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I used my calculator, but you could do it algebraically

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use x=-b/2a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok plug -6 in and what you get is the max

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you should get x=2.448979592

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then plug that x value into your original equation. It comes out to 31.3877551, thats your max
