12x - 24 - 10x - 70 = 14
2x - 94 = 14 (add 94 to both sides to get 2x by itself)
2x - 94 + 94 = 14 + 94
2x = 108 (divide 2 on both sides to gey x by itself)
2x/2 = 108/2
x = 54
