I would like to do a project on multi-objective optimization using Genetic Algorithms of a sea-going barge (box shaped ship) with the objectives of: 1) Maximizing payload 2) Minimizing structural weight in terms of hydrostatics, sea-keeping & structural strength. Softwares that I'm intending to use are Hyperworks, Tribon M3 and Microsoft Excel. Anyone have any inputs?
